Winery wedding filled with Peonies
I will be honest, Spring is my favorite season and I can further admit without shame that my favorite color is pink. All shades, all the pinks! In my humble flower loving opinion, this is the best time of year for flowers. When Leanne with Soleil Events came to me with Shea & Bennett’s plans, I could not stop dreaming about my dear friend Coral Charm… the most popular girl in the Peony world. From the moment they booked I dreamt about these flowers. I incorporated a dusty hue with the Romantic Antique Garden Roses, something I had not used since my own wedding!! I was saving her for a bride would appreciate her and Shea was it. Other beauties included peach and coral Ranunculus. When you also have white and cream in the color palette it’s important to have a softer color that blends them all together so and our soft pink was a Sweet Escimo Rose. (Coral, Peach, Blush, Cream)
This lovely wedding at Gainey Vineyard shows that flowers don’t have to be over the top and dripping from everything to make a true statement.
Even with all of the gorgeous focal blooms my favorite detail was the smallest. The Groom requested “hug-proof” bouts so we tied together rosemary, bay and nandina foliage. Bennett wore a tiny hellebore bud in addition to the herbs and was finished with black silk ribbon.
I shall never tire of a winery wedding, Coral Charm peonies, the color Pink, and a couple in love.
